BENEFICIARIES
In case of death, the following persons are considered beneficiaries in exclusive and preferential order:
- Insured's spouse and children, in equal shares
- Insured's parents, in equal shares
- Insured's brothers, in equal shares
- Legal heirs
In the event of disability compensation, the sum insured will be delivered to the insurer himself.
RISKS COVERED
- Travel accident insurance.
Coverage is limited to trips undertaken in legally authorized public transport, provided that those tickets were paid with a VISA CLASSIC, GOLD AND CORPORATE GOLD issued by any of the Banks from GRUPO BANCO POPULAR.
This coverage extends to the following risks:
- Injuries suffered passangers of a legally authorized public transport, including boarding and exiting such transport, which will make a trip charged to the card.
- Injuries suffered while waiting to board to take a trip in which in which insured is covered.
- Injuries suffered as a driver or passenger of a tourism vehicle (excluding motorcycles) rented and paid with a GEA credit card. This coverage is limited to claims occurred in Europe, United States and Canada, excluding therefore those in the rest of the world.
- Holder's Accident Insurance.
Those VISA CLASSIC, CORPORATE y CORPORATE GOLD holders are covered for accidents anywhere in the world, either during the performance of their professional activities or for acts of ordinary life, including those arising from the use of ordinary transportation means and while practicing a sport as entertainment (except sports excluded in the risk conditions). This warranty does not includes those using a credit card from a business account.
WARRANTIES AND INSURED AMOUNT
- Travel accident insurance for owners and users.
- Death:
VISA CLASSIC guarantees the payment of principal up to 180.310 €. VISA GOLD and CORPORATE GOLD guarantees principal payment of 601.000 €.
- In case of permanent disability
In case of permanent total disability, VISA CLASSIC guarantees for the payment of principal of € 180,310.
In case of permanent partial disability is compensated according to the range contained in the policy for cases not provided for permanent total disability, applying to the principal the right percentage set out below:
60% Forearm amputation below the elbow joint.
60% complete deafness.
50% Loss of one foot.
20% Thumb amputation
- Holder's accident insurance.
For holders of VISA CLASSIC / GOLD ensures the following:
- Death: 100% of the sum insured.
- Permanent disability:
. 100% of the total sum insured.
. Partial payment as stated in the policy on the insured amount.
The sum insured will be equal to the sum of the invoices charged to the card for purchases made in the last twelve months from the date of the accident, with a maximum limit for VISA CLASSIC, GOLD and CORPORATE GOLD of € 6010.12 .
This warranty will not take effect for those cards from a business account.

INSURED
GEA VISA GOLD / GOLD CORPORATE Cardholder for individuals resident in Spain and their vehicle, unless it is used for public transport, goods, or hire people and have a tonnage not exceeding 3500 kg.
Also the vehicle occupants are insured in case of accident occurred.
Titular de la tarjeta VISA GEA ORO / CORPORATE ORO para particulares, residentes en España y su vehículo, siempre que no lo destine a transporte público, de mercancías, personas o alquiler y no tenga un tonelaje superior a 3500 kg.
También estarán los ocupantes del vehículo en caso de siniestro sobrevenido.
